The desert didn’t always scream beauty to me until recently. If you look closely, there are textures and colors in the desert unlike anywhere else. Mark is a member of a flying club in Lake Havasu City where he has access to a few different airplanes to fly. It was during our flights around the desert earlier this year that my eyes really opened to the beauty of the desert. These are a few of my favorite shots taken from the air of the California desert.
