Celebrating Spring in Utah!

Hello Everybody, it’s been too long!

This winter consisted of two surgeries for me (Michele) and nearly five months on the couch.  It was long, stressful, boring and filled with more Mario Brothers than I ever hope to play again in my life : )  I could not be happier or more grateful to be completely healed and back to my good ‘ole self.  Come the end of March, when I was finally able to venture away from home, we packed up the truck and headed to Utah like giddy little kids with some of our dearest friends along for the trip.  It was time to celebrate!  We arrived at Lake Powell to relentless wind and walls of sand that quickly entered every crevice of EVERYTHING.  Luckily we all had a sense a humor about it and were graced with a calm breeze the next day and the rest of the week.  From Lake Powell we spent a night in Green River followed by our last night in Moab.  It was an excellent week simply filled with gratitude for our friends, our health and the great outdoors.  Here are a few photos from our trip!

  • Michelle – I LOVE your website. We live in Utah, so we camp, fish, kayak, etc., a lot and can especially appreciate these beautiful pics. We stumbled across your site while researching Kitfox / experimental planes. Pleeeeease keep your website updated with progress on your new baby blue flying machine. It’s wonderful!

    • Thanks so much for your kind words Kelli! Mark is working away at getting our Kitfox in the air. Hopefully I’ll have some updates soon!
