Have you ever woken up, looked out the window and said to yourself “This might be the most beautiful day of my entire life”? For us, that was today. Fall is my most favorite time of year. It’s one of nature’s greatest shows. Although winter is showing it’s face early this year, fall is still holding on strong and it’s making for a scene I’ve never seen before. So without hesitation, we got up this morning, grabbed a camera and went for a drive. Here’s what we saw…
What a lucky guy my dad is to have caught this show while here visiting for the week. He’ll go back to 90 degree temps in AZ tomorrow.
What an awesome set of photographs to see on a Sunday AM when there is actually some time to take it in. Thank you. I’m reminded of a similar day one April in Western PA there was a late snow fall during the night, and then the sky cleared off the next morning, and there was snow, blue sky, sunshine, and green offsetting it all. That was long ago, but stuff like this is sublime. Thanks again for sharing with the rest of us.
Thanks John. It really was something special. Not sure if I’ll ever see anything quite like it again.
